     The Lagos State Ministry of the Environment wishes to alert the general public of the expected increase in the intensity of rainfall this year.

     While the Ministry is presently engaged in the maintenance, and clearance of existing drainage channels across the State, there is need to inform every citizen to ensure the protection of our drainage infrastructure against any form of abuse such as dumping of waste in drainages/Canals, and constriction along drainage channels.

     In view of the above, and the need to ensure public safety and minimize the effect of the expected heavy rains, the following Resident Engineers/Drainage Maintenance Officers have been appointed to attend to the various complaints that may likely arise in your respective Local Government;
